During the early morning devotion, Pastor Eva Quines once more mentioned the importance of prayer in fulfilling God’s mandate to the Church, preaching the Gospel throughout the world. Next the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol spoke in length about how separation from sin, sanctification and holiness are interconnected and how one leads to the next.
Bishop Osinando Quillao, in his seminar, mentioned that the PMCC (4th Watch) is the restored Church because of the complete gifts of the Holy Spirit. He also showed video clips of the restored Church defending the gospel against cults and false religions.
Immediately after Bishop Osie’s seminar, Bishop Jonathan Ferriol talked about How to be Evangelistic. Evangelism is the main thrust of the Church, and he enumerated four elements needed to be Evangelistic: be filled with the Spirit, be persuaded by the Gospel, be consecrated, and live out the Gospel.
In the afternoon seminar, Bishop Aldrin Palanca, specified several characteristics of a restored Church, mainly, the complete spiritual gifts, devotion to apostolic teachings, and evangelism. He mirrored these similarities between the Early Church and the End-Time Church.
After the seminars, a concert of Pastor Sammy Bagcat was held. He, then proceeded to give the certificate of appreciation to Bishop Aldrin Palanca.
The finals of preaching contest as well as the singing contest were also held.
During the evening program, the focus was shifted towards the employed and professional demographic of the Church. Young professionals, experienced laborers, and even retirees were encouraged to continue on supporting and being part of the work of God.
Several video testimonies of couples working together in their faiths were shown to further encourage the campers to break personal boundaries in their service to God. The testimonies showed how God further helps and blesses active couples, by strengthening the husband-wife relationships, family bonds, financial standings and more importantly spiritual blessings.
Bishop Art Ferriol spoke to the attending adult campers and advised those in attendance to seek the help of the Lord: specifically, by asking for wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. He also reiterated the truth that even adult members of the Church can dedicate their whole lives and work in God’s vineyard.
Supporting the Church and the work of evangelism is noble endeavor and the adult campers once more understood the need and responsibility of standing in the gap and fulfilling their part in God’s mandate to the Church, which is to preach the gospel to the whole world.
