The most awaited Abu Dhabi Locale's 12th Church Anniversary was successfully celebrated last July 13, 2012 held at India Social and Cultural Centre with the theme "Established in Faith, Abounding in Thanksgiving" (Col 2:7).
Bountiful blessings overflowed as the service started with a Friday School which was ministered by the locale head, Pastor Evan Montemayor. Initially, Pastor Evan gladly welcomed all the brethren and visitors for the occasion. Then she proceeded with the preaching of God’s Word. She detailed the amazing love of God through Jesus Christ. Pastor Evan also noted that God is using His sent ones to enable each believer in renewing and strengthening one’s faith.
As the celebration continued to the Divine Worship, the sanctuary was filled with heavenly songs and praises led by the tambourine dancers. Special songs of praises were also offered to God by selected brethren and choir.
Highlighting the event was the meditation of the very Word of God delivered by the Gilead Area Coordinator, Pastor Aldrin Palanca. Pastor Aldrin shared to the congregation the reasons behind the celebration of the church anniversary. He said that in this kind of gathering, a believer should commemorate God’s work of salvation and faithfulness. He also emphasized that it is also important to offer Him thanksgiving as a gesture of gratitude for all His goodness.
After the preaching, Pastor Aldrin led the offering of thanksgiving and altar call. Capping the day’s event, many souls were baptized. Praise the Lord.
