Excellence in service is one of the aspirations the Church is trying to achieve. It tries to enhance its present state to be more productive and to make the gospel more viral. Gradually, the Church has been discovering different ways to accomplish its main objective. Some of the products of the Church were the Daystar Publishing, which was established in the year 1995 and the Cornerstone Recording Studio.
And still, as part of the Redeem Month, the Daystar Publishing and the Cornerstone Department of the PMCC 4th Watch hosted an event last July 22, 2012 to manifest its years of success. The Daystar and Cornerstone Night was given liveliness through the Praise and Worship team led by Sis. Rose Jade Gura. Living testimonies by the people behind the success of the two departments gave the brethren the idea on how these departments started and how the Lord blessed them to make progress every year.
The presentations of the department’s staff started with an enthusiastic dance number that energized the brethren and actually led them in deifying the name of the Lord, followed by some songs played by the band. For the finale, the combined staff of both departments sang a gratifying song which conveyed their full dedication to perform their parts wholeheartedly in God’s mission.
And of course, the event would not be complete without the word of God that was ministered to the brethren by the Marikina Head Pastor and Zion Area Coordinator, Ptr. Rey Yton, who was known to be the first OIC of the Daystar Publishing when it had just started. He had pointed out that the accomplishments of the two departments were results of God’s abundant grace and mercy to His Church in the end-time. (N. Ferriol)
