Gunma, Japan Graces 1st Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service

Thu, August 09, 2012

Just what like it is called, the land where the sun rises, so does the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) has started its local church in Gunma, Japan.

Truly, God has outpoured his blessings to His Church for once again another locale church was firmly established. Blessed with a worship hall, the brethren and visitors alike gathered last August 5 at the PMCC 4W Gunma Worship Hall, Gunma Ken Takasaki Shi KamitoyookaMachi 555-3, to worship and magnify the mighty name of the Lord as well as celebrate the Gunma Locale Church’s 1st Anniversary, Thanksgiving and Inauguration day.

Themed, “The Thanksgiving of the Consecrated People of God” taken at 1 Peter 2:5, the event started with the Sunday School message delivered by Pastor Maya Cruz, Area Coordinator of Judaea Area.

After a while, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (Inauguration Rites) for the newly built PMCC 4th Watch Worship Hall was conducted.

The worship proper started with the astounding and overwhelming praises and adoration for the Lord offered by the attendees. Sister Ruth Rosas, one of the ministers of Gunma, welcomed the brethren and visitors with warm greetings. In giving way for the attendees to be recipients of blessings through giving, Brother CelsoRoxas, Head Minister of Gunma Locale, delivered the offertory message.

The words “We are the people sanctified by God. We are the people exclude by God for His mission” were spoken by Pastor Maya as a reassurance as well as a challenge to further encourage the congregation to fulfill with enthusiasm the task given: evangelize the lost and edify the saints.

Group picture and a lunch buffet followed after the service to show the fellowship within the church as the event was concluded by a Kawan Presentation Contest wherein the best presentation was the Let us Rejoice and be glad by Paul Wilbur. (P. Manlapig)
