The event started with a seminar to prepare brethren and guests as they arrived and filled the seats one by one. To start the worship service, the roster of partakers of the day paraded prior to the singing of hymns and praises led by the Master of Ceremonies, Pastor Cely Altura. In further preparation for the hearts of the congregation to receive the message of the Lord, voices of worship were offered to God by choirs from Arayat, Apalit, and Masantol Locale. Canaan Area ministers also showered the crowd with a blessed harmony of praise before the meditation of the Word of God.

Special keynote speaker Pastor Samuel Ferriol, embraced the theme taken from 2 Corinthians 7:1, “Aimed to Perfection,” with his exceptional delivery of the Word. He insisted as the Bible declares, that perfection is a God-given destiny to the Church in the 4th Watch. Teaching the crowd that perfection will always be encompassed with sacrifice and love, he said with all conviction “Without patience, there will be no perfection.” As Christ, though already perfect, experienced hardships on earth, so will the Church which is the body of Christ.

Of more than 20 visitors who had the opportunity to attend the service for the first time, many accepted the Lord as their savior that day. More than 630 brethren who had experienced God’s rejuvenation of their souls rededicated themselves to make their service to the Lord aimed to perfection. (V. Evangelista)
