“You need to be rooted in your calling, you need to be rooted in your election. Why? Because, it is God who called and chose you, not men,” Presbyter Mona Quillao urged the 1,500-delegation who gathered for the first Patmos Area Fellowship this 2019. The Patmos Area is composed of the Bulacan local Churches.
“Rooted and Strengthened in God’s Love” from Ephesians 3:17 is the theme of the PMCC (4th Watch) for the first quarterly fellowship this year. The brothers and sisters in the province of Bulacan together with their visitors filled up the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium to be once again established and inspired by the promises of God’s words.
Distinguished guests such as Bulacan Governor Willy Sy Alvarado and Vice Governor Daniel Fernando also graced the event and conveyed their greetings to the brethren.
The keynote speaker Presbyter Mona Quillao talked about the benefits of being rooted in God’s love and the consequences of not being rooted. Moreover, she drove home the significance of being rooted in the apostolic teachings and authority in order to be completely anchored in Christ and attain the perfection of our faith.
The congregation was also blessed by the songs of praise from the Pandi, Norzagaray, Plaridel, and Malolos local Churches. Other partakers for the event were Sis. Karen Caunca as Master of Ceremony, Sis. Minerva Alejo as Song Leader, Ptr. Michelle Maglaqui for the Opening Prayer, Bro. Juris Pareja for the Scripture Reading, Patmos Area Coordinator Ptr. Marina de Luna for the Welcome Remarks, and Ptr. Milo Orense for the Offertory message.
