Filled with enthusiasm to be once again be renewed, brethren from 31 local churches of Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Negros District, gathered in one spirit for the Antioch Area Camp 2017 at the local church of Bacolod last May 7-11.
Guided by the theme, “The Mandate of the Restored Church: Preach the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth” taken from Matthew 24:14, each of the attendees prepared their spiritual vessels to be filled with the strengthening from the messages brought by the sent ones of God.
May 7, 2017 (Sunday) – Jumpstarting the event were the Yell and Dance Competitions in the morning followed by the Opening Service in the late afternoon wherein resounding shouts of praises opened the Summer Camp 2017.
May 8, 2017 (Monday) – After entrusting the whole day to the Lord in the morning devotion, separate yet simultaneous seminars for the Adults, Youths, and Cadets were held. Pastor Gladwin, Pastor Nheng and Bishop Resting illuminated the brethren in their seminars. In the afternoon, different parlor games bonded the campers and further developed their sportsmanship and fellowship with each other. Soul Winners Night ended the day with Bishop Resting as the speaker.
May 9, 2017 (Tuesday) – Once again the delegates were recharged through their fiery seminars of Pastor Dondon, Bishop Resting, and Pastor Nheng, respectively. Bible Events Contests tested the contestants in the afternoon. At night, Ministries Night followed. Bishop Resting once more encouraged the congregation to be more active in participating in the Church’s ministries.
May 10, 2017 (Wednesday) – The attendees were blessed to have Pastor Leticia as a seminar speaker, together with Pastor Nheng and Bishop Resting for the last day of the camp. Pastor Leticia was also the speaker in the Dedication Service in the evening.
Numerous campers were moved to a wholehearted decision to dedicate their lives for the mission making the event indeed a success to behold.
