Tuesday services of Adult Camp 2018 began as the campers woke up at early dawn to meditate on the Word of God preached by Pastor Miguel Gelogo and pray for their personal requests and for the Church.
After a short break, the morning was filled with a powerful roll of seminar speakers which were Pastor Levi Ferriol, Bishop Resting Zonio, and Apostle Arsenio Ferriol.
Pastor Levi emphasized the mantra of “less of you, more of Christ” as a useful guide in serving God, challenging the adults to become ministers of God and not simply remain as a parent.
Bishop Resting discussed the importance of perfecting faith through sufferings. He highlighted the fact that evangelism is a means which helps believers grow in the faith.
Apostle Arsenio Ferriol encouraged the audience to examine their faith. Using Joseph’s life as an illustration, the Apostle reminded everyone that as they observe suffering with Christ, they will be recipients of God’s glory.
At afternoon time, Pastor Polly Mendoza conducted a seminar about overcoming various kinds of sufferings through self-denial, faith, service, and obedience to God.
During the Ministries Night service, Bishop Osinando Quillao discussed the joy of the ministry as he told the brethren to take comfort in the fact that more sufferings will result to more rejoicing in the Lord.
There are rewards in store for those who will endure suffering for the Lord. The second day drew to a close with the campers’ spirits refreshed and anticipating to the next day’s event.
