The participants in the 2018 Adult Camp remained in high spirits on Thursday, the penultimate day of the week-long annual gathering.
The campers once again took part in the morning prayers. Pastor Ning Zonio highlighted our privilege as God’s children to be His heirs. Despite sufferings, we persevere to see the fulfillment of the Word of God. Pastor Let Ferriol also spoke briefly to reiterate that we need to pray because we need God’s help and mercy.
During the first seminar, Pastor Levi Ferriol reminded the brethren that serving God is not a matter of convenience as we are to endure hardships. We are co-workers of the Apostle in the End-Time.
Afterwards, Bishop Aldrin Palanca discussed the power of following Christ in suffering. This power includes the power to cease from sinning and the power to turn sorrows into joy.
Bishop Arturo Ferriol, the morning‘s last speaker, addressed the subject of preaching the word of God in a hostile environment. He advised that prayer, unity, boldness, personal evangelism, and advice of the apostle be used to achieve success in evangelism in hostile areas like the Middle East.
The brethren returned to the AATF Complex in the afternoon. During the seminar, Pastor Jun Marbida talked about piety and how living a life filled with it will be greatly rewarded.
After a short break, the day’s last event dubbed Soul Winners’ Night followed. Evangelist Leticia Ferriol gave a passionate message highlighting the importance of soul winning. She first established the unique manner of man’s creation. Unlike others which were simply created by God’s Word, man was formed by the hands of God and created according to His image. With the entry of sin, Christ was given as a ransom. This only shows that God loves us and He values the worth of our soul.
The service ended with the brethren thinking about their love ones whom they will share the gospel. They prayed for them and made a promise that they will fulfill their roles as fishers of men.
