History was made as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Northern Luzon District which is composed of 4 Areas namely, Bethany, Bethlehem, Lystra, and Philadelphia, joined for the Summer Camp 2018 held at our very own campsite, the AATF Prayer Mountain located at Asin Road, Tuba Benguet last May 6 – 9, 2018.
In this 3-day event, the sufficiency of God’s grace was fully experienced by the delegates in spite of the difficult circumstances. Evangelist Leticia Ferriol, Bishop Resting Zonio, Pastor Reynald Sulayao, Pastor Eva Quines, and Pastor Rey Yton ministered powerful and inspiring messages which not only equipped the brethren with spiritual knowledge but also fortified their faith and dedication.
Pastor Let jumpstarted the gathering as the guest speaker for the opening service. She declared the great honor and privilege of the campers in being part of the first camp held at our very own camp site even with the tough living situations.
“The sufferings of Christ brought about perfect salvation.”
– Pastor Leticia Ferriol
Waking up in a cool atmosphere but with fiery spirits eager to start the day right, the campers entrusted the day through the morning devotion. The seminar message delivered by Pastor Let Ferriol deepened the understanding of the attendees about the will of God. Pastor Eva Quines further encouraged the congregation in her message during the Worship Service.
Highlighting the first day of the camp was the Talents Night. The delegates presented their God-given talents with such grace that the venue resounded with praises to the Lord. Bishop Resting Zonio inspiringly compelled the congregation to use their gifts and talents for God’s glory.
This camp nurtured not only the spiritual aspects of the brethren but also the physical and mental. After the empowering seminar and worship service in the morning, the afternoon of day 2 was jam-packed with sports like table tennis, dart, arm wrestling, chess, and amazing race and chock-full with contests like Photography, Preaching, Singing, Essay Writing, Poem Composition, and Bible Quiz.
At night, after the evening service with Pastor Let as the speaker, the Spoken Poetry contest was held. Original compositions from different locales moved and inspired the audiences as they performed with heartfelt enthusiasm.
Day 3 and Dedication Service
The last day of the camp began with the picture taking of all the campers wearing their camp shirt. The dedication service followed right after which started with the marching of the MBS and newly graduates. The delegates were inspired and motivated by video presentation of the spoken poetry performed at the Youth Camp.
In her passionate and fiery message, Pastor Let once more convinced the delegates to obey the will of the Lord in their lives. Leading to the dedication of the brethren, Pastor Let exclaimed, “Panalo nanaman ang panig ng Dios!”
The success of the first camp in AATF Prayer Mountain indeed manifested the sufficiency of God’s grace and mercy to His people.
