Fervent believers from the local churches of Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Batangas District gathered to once again exalt the name of the Lord and witness the mighty works of God through the Shiloh Area Fellowship last June 24, 2018 at Batangas City Convention Center, meditating the theme,“Suffering is the Root of Freedom” from Hebrews 5:7-8. Indeed, great work of God made known in His church and the overflowing grace is manifested in His people.
The service started with a seminar of Bishop Domingo Ferriol, one of the church overseers who powerfully administered the word of God with conviction.
Batangueño brethren received God’s empowerment and blessings through the meditation of the Word of God and the district filled this convention center with joy and zealousness as Pastor Sherilyn Tenorio, the Master of Ceremony introduced the Sto. Tomas Praise and Worship Team headed by Sis. Honeyleth Paredes and lead the congregation in joyful singing unto the Lord. Thereafter, Pastor Philip Cortez, head pastor of Agoncillo locale, led the opening prayer while Bro. Daniel Valiente, from Calaca locale officiated the reading of the Holy Scriptures.
Pastor Dante Abainza, one of the Church Presbyters, Shiloh Area Coordinator and head pastor of Tanauan local warmly welcomed the delegates from the different local churches of Batangas District.
The message of giving was ministered by Pastor Jun Mongcal, head minister of Lipa local church, delivering a message about generous giving for the church.
Spirit-lifting psalms of praises were rendered unto the Lord by the brethren from the local churches of Lemery, San Juan, and Laurel.
The gathering will not be completed without the abundant grace of God in meditating His word by the Media Coordinator of the church, Pastor Samuel Ferriol.
“Ang pagsunod kay Cristo ay pagsunod sa kanyang tangis at alam natin na sa ating pagsunod ay merong gantimpala”. He mentioned in his message that everyone must be impassioned in service and devotion to God. More over, the brethren unite in spirit with freedom to be united in pure sympathy.
This great gathering was a victory. Each member was empowered as they witnessed how God’s work manifested in their midst.
