“Marami tayong tiisin bilang alagad ni Cristo, ngunit sa kabila nito ay ang paglaan ng biyaya ng Dios pagkaligtas ng ating katawan tungo sa maluwalhating kalagayan. Kaya kung mayroon man tayong mga pagtitiis at paghihirap, wag tayong uurong.”
—Pastor Charlie Magbata
With the hope of being spiritually empowered by the truth the Word of God brings, the good brethren of the local churches within Macedonia Area convened in a holy convocation, thus, the Macedonia Area Fellowship on July 1, 2018 held at One Arena, Cainta, Rizal, Philippines, with a theme “Suffering is the Root of Freedom” derived from Hebrews 5:7-8.
A resounding joy from the grateful hearts of the blessed people of Macedonia echoed inside the arena as they joined in one accord in singing songs of exaltation for the glory of God. After the joyful singing, souls cried out as Pastor Loreto Cabantog led the congregation to a heartfelt prayer.
Pastor Cris Enriquez, the Macedonia Area Coordinator, gave his warm words of welcome, acknowledging the presence of the guest of honor and speaker, fellow ministers, brethren, and visitors.
The worship was packed with special numbers from the Cadets Choir, Youth Choir, and Adult Choir, with the aim of glorifying the Holy Name of God.
Pastor Charlie Magbata graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker. Through biblical truths, he explained that as disciples of Christ, we should endure all the hardships the same way Christ did while He was still on earth. Also, he emphasized that the promise of God to those who will bear the cross of Christ is a holy, sanctified body in the kingdom of heavens.
The fellowship drew to a close with words of conviction and encouragement left in the hearts of the faithful—no retreat, no surrender.
