Gifu Locale celebrated seven years of God’s mighty works and abundant blessings last July 15, 2018 at the Tokiwa Community Center. Brethren and visitors alike filled the place where they joyfully feasted on God’s Words taken from 1 Chronicles 16:24.
Sister Minami Nonomura began the joyous occasion with Praise and Worship, then Sister Ria Tokuda led the congregation in Prayer. Brother Albert Barba led the Reading of the Scriptures followed by the Locale Minister-in-Charge Sister Noime Santos who expressed her warm welcome to the brethren and visitors.
Sister Noime also delivered the Offertory Message which motivated the brethren to support the mission through bountiful giving. Brothers and sisters from Gifu and Nagano then later rendered an empowering Song of Praise that prepared the hearts and minds of the attendees to receive the Word of God.
Guest Speaker Pastor Nimfa Barerra, Japan District Sub-Coordinator and Nagoya Local Minister, focused her message on God’s unwavering goodness and faithfulness that should be shared and testified to people. She reminded the congregation that our needful nature as human beings should lead us to completely rely on God who is our sole sufficiency.
The worshipers continued to glorify God and bear witness to His wonderful works through music in a gospel concert entitled “Ang Pangangaral”.
With another year of victory added to the young church of Gifu Locale, the brethren renewed their commitment to stay on the path of growth and greatness which God has destined for His people. (J. Alina)
